Coryton Cove Beach in Dawlish, Devon is a secluded beach far from the tourist crowds. Historically known as Gentleman’s Cove, it is sandy and sheltered by the red cliffs that back it. Swimmers are protected by a designated no watercraft zone. Fishing from the breakwater is a popular activity, as is exploring the many rock pools and simply relaxing.

The beach has been awarded the Quality Coast Award and it is a Marine Conservation Society Recommended beach. Boat trips and fishing trips around the bay offer the chance to see dolphins in the surrounding waters.
