About Marloes Sands

Marloes Sands is a long expanse of sand at low tide and a remote beach near the village of Marloes, in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is backed by cliffs with red sandstone and grey shale, and broadly curved. It offers great views of Skokholm Island and Gateholm Island. The beach can be accessed easily right from the main road, or it can be accessed from the north side, near Gateholm, which demands some scrambling skills. Shots from the movie "Snow White and the Huntsman"where filmed here in 2011. It is a Green Coast Award and a Seaside Award winning beach, both granted in 2015.
