This walk has been designed by the owner of Wales Outdoors to take in the best of the Wye Valley in the Symmonds Yat area. From the start at the wonderful village store we regularly take in wonderful places of interest such as the viewpoint from Symmonds Yat Rock that looks down upon the almost unbelievable Huntsham Oxbow. The woodland is mostly ours as we are, mostly, off the beaten track throughout. This is a skilfully designed day with plenty of interest for the young and the young at heart alike :)

Cardiff has been an essential part of Doctor Who for the last 20 years, be it as Victorian London, Depression era New York or present day Paris. Across two and a half hours, we will discover the heart and soul of Doctor Who in the Welsh capital, and traverse 13 series of the show, while discussing filming locations, important scenes and characters, as well as crucial buildings and streets. The Doctor Who Tour covers a range of locations from Cardiff's Civic Centre area to the city centre itself and then finishes in Cardiff Bay. What makes this tour distinctive to the Cardiff City Centre Doctor Who Tour option is that is includes Butetown and Cardiff Bay in addition to the central area of the city, so more scenes, more locations and more Doctor Who!

The final stop will be in Caerphilly town to marvel at Caerphilly Castle—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest castle in Wales. Entrance is optional; you can also spend your free time exploring the charming town, which is filled with cafes, quaint shops, and souvenir spots. Finally, sit back and enjoy the ride back to Cardiff to the designated meeting point, concluding a day filled with exploration and discovery.

A small group guided tour from central Cardiff taking in the very best beaches & historical sites on the Gower peninsula, the first Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the UK. We'll then visit Gower Heritage Centre for lunch and a guided tour of the 12th Century watermill. Rhossili and Worms Head is a must with any trip to the Gower having to pull into this iconic spot. On this two-hour walking tour of central Cardiff we will discuss this journey of Cardiff from Roman outpost to the capital of Wales, which saw the city grow rapidly in size, population and wealth across the nineteenth century in particular. This tour takes in all of the major landmarks of the city centre, including Cardiff Castle, Bute Park, Cardiff Market, the Principality Stadium, and the spectacular Civic Centre. Discover not only the architecture and history of Cardiff, but the culture and characters of Wales too, from rugby, Welsh food and language, to the iconic figures who have made this country what it is today.
