Pistyll Rhaeadr

Pistyll Rhaeadr is an amazing fall in the Berwyn Mountains, situated a couple of miles from the village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant in Powys, Wales. It si formed by the Afon Disgynfa falling. This fall is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of Wales and is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It height reaches 80 metres (240 feet) and it is the Britain's tallest single drop fall. This fall is opened to the public throughout the year and there is no charge for accessing it. Care should be taken, it is a mountaineering area and it can be hard to access in wet weather, it needs good walking shoes.
