About Porth Wen Beach

Porth Wen Beach is a shingle beach enclosed by rocky bracken covered banks, with rockpools at low tide, close to the popular Bull Bay. It is located near the town of Amlwch, Anglesey, Wales. A natural rock arch and a small harbor can be found close to the beach, towards the western end of it. The most attractive feature of Port Wen is the old brickworks. This access can be a little bit challenging, it includes a steep track. Dog are allowed on this beach and no lifeguard service is provided.
