About Reighton Beach

Reighton Beach forms part of the larger Filey Bay. It is a large, open, sandy beach with plenty of space for walking and relaxing, so even at its busiest it doesn't feel overcrowded. Backed by chalk cliffs, the area is a magnet for fossil hunters. Other activities include swimming, surfing and fishing. There are coastal paths stretching in either direction on the cliff tops for walkers. The beach is Marine Conservation Society Recommended. Access is via a relatively steep path from the holiday park on the cliff tops.
