Sennen Beach lies just half an hour's walk north east of Land's End - a cliff top walk will take you there. However, Sennen Beach is best known as a prime spot for surfers. Exposed to the Atlantic, it picks up any swell, yet it is slightly more sheltered from the wind than neighbouring Gwenver Beach. There are surf schools and equipment hire in the locality. The beach is also highly popular with families, especially during holiday season. The beach holds the Blue Flag Award and is Marine Conservation Society Recommended, so swimming is good, but stick to designated areas.
