Wistman's Wood is a high altitude oakwood located in the county of Devon, England. It is in the Dart River valley and offers stunning views of wild Devon. It is one of the highest oakwoods in UK. Enclosed by the granite tors and moorland of Darmoor National Park, the wood is a National Nature Reserv managed by Natural England. The area is home to a vast population of adder, a venomous snake.
