The Gower Peninsula was the first area in the UK to be designated an Area Of Outstanding Beauty and we will get the chance to explore the area together. We have been delivering tours and group walks at this location for over ten years and have a deep knowledge of the area, its heritage, and its natural environments we will share this with you as you take in the best that Wales has to offer. Beautiful clifftops, sandy beaches, and of course an obligatory Welsh Castle. Your guide will show you around the Gower and give you that personal experience. The walk will be tailored to the group, but the breathtaking scenery is sure to bow your mind! This is a 6-mile walk walked over 5 hours.

On this two-hour walking tour of central Cardiff we will discuss this journey of Cardiff from Roman outpost to the capital of Wales, which saw the city grow rapidly in size, population and wealth across the nineteenth century in particular. This tour takes in all of the major landmarks of the city centre, including Cardiff Castle, Bute Park, Cardiff Market, the Principality Stadium, and the spectacular Civic Centre. See the six main waterfalls of the Brecon Beacons as well as some smaller falls and cascades, and admire the scenic valleys and the forest landscapes. Meet your guide at National Museum Cardiff. Then it's off to Pontneddfechan and the start of our hike. We will hike to and visit each waterfall as you learn about the local area from your guide. You'll gain 400m of height on the 15km hike which is often over rough, muddy and broken ground. For our hiking troubles, we get amazing scenic views of the park and wonderful memories of sparkling waterfalls. Immerse yourself in the landscape as you get the chance to walk behind some of the waterfalls. Perhaps you will take an invigorating swim in the final pool to finish off the tour!

Barry Island, a popular seaside town where you can grab a coffee, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beach. Marvel at the cliffs of Nash Point, part of the Wales Coast Path, which offers spectacular walking routes with breath-taking views of the Bristol Channel. Then, take a look at the ruins of Ogmore Castle, featuring parts of the stone keep, a curtain wall, and a gatehouse. Next, enjoy a stroll through St. Fagans National Museum of History, one of Europe's leading open-air museums and Wales's most popular heritage attraction. The final stop will be in Caerphilly town to marvel at Caerphilly Castle—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest castle in Wales. Entrance is optional; you can also spend your free time exploring the charming town, which is filled with cafes, quaint shops, and souvenir spots. Finally, sit back and enjoy the ride back to Cardiff to the designated meeting point, concluding a day filled with exploration and discovery.
