Borth Beach

Borth Beach is a sandy beach surrounded by protected sited of natural beauty with really amazing views on all sides, located north of Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, Wales. It is a Blue Flag and a Seaside Award-winning beach. It is a popular place for watersport enthusiasts, such as surfers and kite surfers . At the southern end of it can be found an ancient sunken forest, which is exposed at low tide and is suggested not to be missed. Welsh legend sais that the trunks of and tree trumps of old forests long hidden under sand and sea are the remains of the land of Cantre'r Gwaelod.
