About Clattercote Reservoir

Clattercote Reservoir is managed by the Canal and River Trust, which has constructed a modern wooden walkway around its perimeter. This has opened up the water for fishing, and day tickets are available. Fish found here include carp, bream, tench and roach. While the reservoir tends to be quiet midweek, it is an extremely popular venue for match fishing at weekends in season, so expect it to be busier then. Night fishing is also permitted. The reservoir is surrounded by indigenous trees and shrubs, supplemented by additional planting of willows and reeds, making it an extremely pleasant and tranquil location.
