This former landfill site now occupies 100 acres (0.4 km2) of country park, providing many different habitats for a huge diversity of wildlife. There are four pools providing fishing by permit to members of the Royal Leamington Spa Angling Association.
The park is also an ideal location for bird watchers. There are well-surfaced paths and waymarked trails for easy walking and exploring the site, with access to an adjoining Ancient Woodland and SSSI, Ryton Wood (the terrain of which is steeper and less suitable for wheelchairs).
The park also includes a sensory garden, dedicated play areas for children and a miniature railway.
