About Frinton Beach

Frinton Beach lies on the Essex Sunshine Coast. This largely sandy beach shelves gently into the sea. The beach itself and facilities surrounding are a lot less tourist-driven than some nearby beaches such as Clacton. Sailing, swimming, canoeing, sea fishing and wind-surfing all take place and there is zoning in place for some water sports activities.

The beach holds a Quality Coast Award, is Marine Conservation Society Recommended and has been awarded Blue Flag status. A nearby coastal path takes walkers and hikers to Holland Haven Country Park, more than 100 acres of scenic coastline ideal for bird watchers.
