Bryher is the smallest of the five Isles of Scilly, being located in the county of Cornwall, England. It has a length of 2 km (1.2 mi), a surface of 134 ha (330 acres) and a maximum width of 1 km (0.62 mi). Hell Bay lies on Bryher, an Atlantic-facing cove, known for shipwrecks. It is a friendly place, with a small working community. If you want to visit the island, Hell Bay Hotel is situated near the coast on the west part, but guesthouses,self-catering cottages and a campsite also can be found. The coast line is varied, described as an island of contrasts. The east one finds the sheltered waters of the channel between Bryher and Tresco. The west coast overlooks the full force of the ocean.
