Tresco is a part of the Isles of Scilly archipelago, being located in Cornwall, England. It is the second-biggest island of the archipelago, with an area of 297 ha (733 acres). A diverse landscape is found on the island, rugged granite outcrops, heathland on the north side and shell beaches on the east and south sides. The principal settlements are Old Grimsby and New Grimsby, being situated in the central side of the isle. The famous Tresco Abbey Garden, established in 1830s by Augustus Smith, is found on the south part of the island.
