This small sandy beach is just over a mile away from Looe, from where it can be approached on foot along the South West Coast Path. The land surrounding is occupied by a holiday camp, which is in the process of being developed to improve facilities. The beach faces south and lies at the foot the slopes of a wooded valley. At low tide, rock pools are exposed, but at high tide, the sand practically disappears. The beach is good for swimming and the water quality is excellent - recommended by the Marine Conservation Society. There is level, easy access from a car parking area close to the beach.
