About Red Wharf Bay Beach

Red Wharf Bay Beach is a large sandy beach bordered by salt marshes and sand dunes, located near the town of Llangefni, on the east side of Anglesey, Wales. It reveals about 16km (10 miles) of sand at low tide. This beach draws plenty of wildlife watchers, this including a large number of waterfowl and wading birds, oystercatchers, shelduck, purple sandpipers. It allows dogs and no lifeguard service is provided. It is beautiful and quiet, perfect for a day out and a nice walk on the beach, free parking included.
