Sgwd Henrhyd is the highest waterfall in the South Wales with a drop of 27 metres (90 feet), located near the village of Coelbren, on the road between Glynneath and Abercraf, in Powys. It makes part of the National Trust land on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. This fall takes place where the Nant Llech River drops over the faulted edge of a hard sandstone, known as the Farewell Rock. It can be reached through a steep path down into the valley from the parking area. A scene of The Dark Knight Rises movie was filmed at this waterfall.
