Studland and Godlingston Heath is situated on the Isle of Purbeck, in the county of Dorset, England, and it is owned by the National Trust. It is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The area is dominated by lowland heath, but it also has a large range of habitats, such sand dune, peat bog, alder and willow carr, a sandy beach and freshwater lagoons. This reserve is characterized by many prehistoric remains of man's activity pre-dating Roman times, and also contains a mystical standing stone, known as the Agglestone Rock, a sandstone block of about 400 tonnes. People can visit de reserve all year round.
