Torrisdale Bay Beach is a stunning beach with clean golden sands on the northern part of Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. It can be reached by a rewarding walk from Invernaver and it offers a lot for visitors to enjoy. The beach is a popular spot with surfers. It is drained by the River Naver, which is one of the most productive salmon rivers of Scotland. Nearby the bay a series of ancient cairns can be found. Here it can be found the Torrisdale Castle, built in 1815, which makes part of an estate that includes some holiday cottages and lodges.
