Durness Beach is a large, white beach with wide dunes, located near Cape Wrath in northern Scotland. It is a scenic, clear and accessible beach that offers endless opportunities to find and seek. The area of Durness is isolated, the parish is vast and weakly populated, covering an area from the east of Loch Eriboll to Cape Wrath - the most north-westerly part of the Scottish mainland. The sand dunes are the most evident characteristic of this magical beach, and they signify a wide range of habitats. The sandy bay is half-moon shaped and faces west, allowing bathing to be very tranquil. The beach is popular for its amazing twilights.
