It stands at the southern edge of Snowdonia National Park. It is a popular mountain for walkers and hikers. Its height reaches 893 metres (2930 feet) and is classified as a Marilyn. The top can be identified by the trig point on huge pile of stones....

The top can be identified by the trig point on huge pile of stones. The Minffordd Path begins on the southern part of the mountain near the glacial lake called Tal-y-llyn. Using this track, hikers climb past Llyn Cau and along the rim of Craig to Penygadair.
