About Hartland Quay Beach

Hartland Quay Beach is a pebbled and rocky beach near Bude in Devon. Set in a bay, the beach also includes a small harbour. It is Marine Conservation Society Recommended for its excellent water quality. Swimming, surfing, sea canoeing and kayaking, snorkelling and fishing are the main activities here.

For nature enthusiasts, there are also rock pools to explore when the tide recedes and falcons’ nests on the cliffs. There are plenty of good walks and staggering views along the cliffs above and in and around the area.
