It has been regarded for a long time as one of the Scotland's best sea trout lochs, with the season running from June to September. Boats can be rented for fishing purposes.
The loch stands in the middle of a stunning landscape. For starters there's Ben Hope, over 900 metres tall, however the entire area is full of many different mountains, some of which bring water into the loch. The west shore of the lake is trackless, it can only be accessed by boat or on foot.
