The Talmine Beach is a beautiful sandy one with several shipwrecks, one more modern than the other. The village of Talmine is a small hamlet looking north east across Tongue Bay. Closer at hand are the imaginatively called rabbit islands, with Sgeir an Oir to their north with its genuine rock arch.
