About Trebarwith Strand Beach

About Trebarwith Strand Beach

This sandy beach is only visible when the tide is out. It is backed by cliffs with natural caves to explore and can only be accessed by scrambling over rocks, making it unsuitable for some. At lower tides, visitors can swim and rock pool. It's also popular with intermediate and experienced surfers, due to the frequent strong winds that come in off the Atlantic Ocean. The beach is Marine Conservation Society Recommended. The South West Coast Path runs alongside and Tintagel is around 2.5 km (1.5 mi) away.
